Garden Treasures!!!

Garden Treasures (one of our favorite farms) will be visiting SODO Kitchen on Wednesday, June 20th.

Stop by between 11:00am – 1:30pm for special tasting and chef demonstration featuring one of planet Earth’s  most delectable, natural treats – Farm Fresh Organic Strawberries!  We will be offering fresh berries, as well as Biscuit Box Strawberry Shortcake with house-made whipped cream.

Garden Treasures grows on 4 parcels of land in Arlington, WA.   Their farming fields are very rich bottom valley soil, certified organic by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.   On these 40+ acres of land, they also have greenhouses and enough room to rotate our crops to help maintain control over weeds and improve soil nutrition.  They continuously plant riparian buffers, and increase the biodiversity in their fields in an approach to balance both nature and farm.
